According to him, the first theft took place on July 13, 2025, when a gold chain weighing more than 38 grams went missing from the showroom. By the time the matter came to his notice, CCTV footage from that period was unavailable, leaving no actionable evidence.

Subsequently, during a routine stock verification on March 25, 2026, it was noticed that three sets of gold earrings weighing 8.2 grams were missing from a counter. Later, on June 10, a customer’s 5.28-gram gold ring and a 24.8-gram gold chain also went missing. A review of CCTV footage from that day clearly identified the person responsible.
