The impact threw Rohit onto the road, and the car ran over him, causing fatal injuries.

Rohit, a resident of New Sarpanch Colony, Jamalpur, worked as a lab technician at a laboratory in Harnam Nagar, Model Town. On the day of the accident, he and his uncle were returning to the lab after completing work. Yograj, who was following on his own vehicle, witnessed the crash and informed the police.

The Focal Point police quickly responded, arresting the driver, Taranjit Singh, a resident of Baba Deep Singh Colony, Royal Enclave, on Chandigarh road.
