The deceased was alone at home when the incident occurred. His family members had gone out to participate in a religious procession in their neighbourhood. In the evening, Monu's mother returned home and was confronted with the horrifying sight of her son hanging. She immediately raised an alarm, alerting neighbours and authorities.
Suicide Note Recovered, Police Investigation
Officials from the Dugri police station rushed to the spot. During their examination, they recovered a suicide note from the premises. In the note, the victim did not blame anyone else for his extreme step and held himself responsible for the act. The police have confirmed this detail and stated that no foul play is suspected based on the initial evidence and the content of the note.
Legal Proceedings Initiated
The local police have registered a case and will proceed with their investigation under the relevant legal framework. The action will be taken according to Section 194 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS).
