The woman, hailing from Areekode, recorded the video inside the bus. She was traveling from Payyannur railway station in Kannur last Friday. In the footage, she alleged that the man touched her inappropriately during the journey.

The deceased has been identified as Deepak of Ullatthodi House at Govindapuram. He worked as an employee at a garment firm. Deepak lived with his parents, Choyi and Kanyaka.
