A shocking incident of murder has rattled the Bhawnathpur area of Garhwa district, where an unidentified young man was found shot dead under mysterious circumstances. The grim discovery was made on Saturday along the busy Bhawnathpur-Ketar main road.
Body Found in Traveller Shed, Key Clues Recovered
According to police reports, the deceased, believed to be in his late twenties, was discovered lying in a traveller shed. Upon reaching the spot, law enforcement officials retrieved the body and sent it to Garhwa Sadar Hospital for a postmortem examination. The primary cause of death was a gunshot wound to the temple.
Officer-in-charge of Bhawnathpur police station, Rajni Ranjan, revealed that crucial evidence was collected from the scene. A bottle of India Made Foreign Liquor (IMFL) and a glass were found near the body. More intriguingly, a packet of rice was recovered from one of the pockets of the man's clothes. This particular clue has led the police to suspect a possible connection to sorcery or occult practices.

"The youth was shot dead. We are trying to ascertain his identity. Viewing the sensitivity of the case, investigation has been intensified," stated OC Rajni Ranjan.
