A shocking incident unfolded in Mysuru on Wednesday, where a man allegedly killed his two step-brothers by hacking them with a sharp weapon. The accused had invited the victims to his residence under the pretense of resolving a long-standing family dispute. The accused, identified as Ravi, aged 45, lived in the Kumbarakoppal area of Mysuru. He allegedly called his step-brothers, Mahesh (42) and Ganesh (38), to his home to discuss a property disagreement. The trio had been at odds over ancestral land for several years. During the meeting, an argument broke out, and Ravi is said to have lost control, attacking his siblings with a machete. Both Mahesh and Ganesh succumbed to their injuries on the spot.
Police Investigation
Upon receiving information, the Kumbarakoppal police rushed to the scene and apprehended Ravi. The bodies were sent for post-mortem examination. Preliminary investigations suggest that the accused had been planning the attack for some time.
