The incident occurred on January 3 in the Hudkeshwar area. The victim, Jagdish Gedekar, was a 49-year-old police constable posted at the Nagpur Police Headquarters. A resident of Shankar Nagar on Narsala Road, Gedekar had parked his motorcycle near the Brahma Nagar T-Point between 5:30 pm and 5:45 pm.
