A police constable from Nagpur lost his life in a tragic road accident involving a construction vehicle, prompting legal action against the driver.
Constable Struck by JCB in Hudkeshwar
The incident occurred on January 3 in the Hudkeshwar area. The victim, Jagdish Gedekar, was a 49-year-old police constable posted at the Nagpur Police Headquarters. A resident of Shankar Nagar on Narsala Road, Gedekar had parked his motorcycle near the Brahma Nagar T-Point between 5:30 pm and 5:45 pm.
Details of the Fatal Collision
According to reports, a JCB machine was being driven rashly in the area. It rammed into Gedekar's parked motorcycle with significant force. The impact caused the constable to fall, and he tragically came under the wheel of the heavy vehicle. He sustained critical injuries in the accident.
