Hundreds of students participated in the National Students' Union of India's (NSUI) 'Mashaal March – Chhatron Ki Goonj' in Mukherjee Nagar, Delhi, on Friday, demanding the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan and a ban on the National Testing Agency (NTA) over alleged examination irregularities.
March Details and Demands
The march commenced from Batra Cinema, with students carrying flaming torches and raising slogans against what they described as repeated failures in the examination system. Protesters alleged that paper leaks and administrative lapses had affected lakhs of students and demanded greater accountability from the Centre.
Students also raised concerns over examination transparency, accountability, and equal opportunities in higher education. They called for reforms to ensure a fair and transparent system for national-level entrance examinations.
