Law enforcement officials have registered a First Information Report (FIR) under section 65(2) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) and the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (Pocso) Act. Incident Details and Police Response
The incident came to light when the parents of the five-year-old girl lodged a formal complaint with the Radha Nagar police station. According to the complaint, the child returned home from school and exhibited signs of discomfort, prompting her family to seek medical attention. A doctor conducted a thorough medical check-up, prescribed necessary medications, and discharged her.
Upon returning home, the girl reportedly disclosed to her parents that an older student had taken her to the school washroom and engaged in inappropriate behaviour. Alerted by this revelation, the Radha Nagar police immediately sent the girl for a comprehensive medical examination to gather forensic evidence.
In response, two senior-rank police officials, including the CO Line/Crime, rushed to the scene to conduct an on-site investigation. Their prompt involvement highlights the urgency with which authorities are treating this sensitive case.
