Funds Recovered and Arrests Made in Ram Mandir Donation Fraud Case
The Ayodhya police have recovered Rs 79.85 lakh from eight individuals arrested in connection with the alleged missing funds from the Ram Mandir donation collection. All eight accused have been sent to police custody until June 29, according to the prosecution officer.
Bank Employees Among the Accused
The prosecution officer revealed that five to six of the arrested individuals were bank employees who had been deployed at the temple to count cash donations. These employees were reportedly drawing salaries from the bank while allegedly involved in the misappropriation of funds.

The case came to light after discrepancies were found in the donation records at the Ram Mandir construction site in Ayodhya. The police launched an investigation and subsequently arrested the eight individuals, recovering a significant portion of the missing amount. The accused are being questioned to determine the full extent of the fraud and whether any other individuals were involved.
