A 35-year-old man employed with the sales tax department lost his life in a road accident in Jaipur on Wednesday afternoon. The incident took place in the Bajaj Nagar area when his motorcycle collided with a car, according to police.
Victim Identified
Police have identified the deceased as Anil Choudhary (35), a resident of Bhomiya Nagar in Jhotwara. He was posted in the sales tax department and was traveling from his office in Jhalana to another office near Statue Circle on his motorcycle at the time of the accident.
Accident Details
The crash occurred around 3:30 PM near AG Colony in Bajaj Nagar. Police reported that Choudhary's speeding motorcycle allegedly rammed into a car that was emerging from a road cut. The impact threw him onto the road, leaving him critically injured.
He was rushed to Jaipuria Hospital, where doctors declared him dead upon examination. Head Constable Sardar Singh confirmed that the body has been placed in the hospital mortuary for post-mortem examination.
Investigation Underway
Police have seized the car involved in the accident and detained its driver, identified as Deepak Sharma. Further investigation is ongoing to determine the exact circumstances of the collision.
