They had joined the Gujarat government's revenue department as revenue talatis earlier in their careers. In 2023, they received promotions to their current positions. The couple typically traveled to work together every day.
Morning Routine Turns Tragic
On Monday morning, Ketan Patel prepared for work as usual. He went to their society parking area and waited inside his car for Hinisha to join him. After an unusually long wait with no sign of his wife, Ketan grew concerned. He went back to their home to check on her.

"We registered an unnatural death case," Chaudhary stated. "Our inquiries with both families revealed the couple maintained a good relationship. We found no evidence of disputes that might explain this tragedy."
