Tragic Scooter Crash Claims Lives of Three Class IX Students in Narmadapuram

A devastating road accident near Karanpur village in the Sohagpur area of Narmadapuram district has resulted in the immediate deaths of three Class IX students. The young boys were riding a scooter when it collided with a stationary trolley.

Details of the Fatal Incident

The accident occurred around 8.30 pm on Tuesday near the Chaudhary petrol pump at Karanpur. All three victims were residents of Amdehi village. They were returning home from their coaching classes at the time of the crash.

The Ola scooter carrying the three boys rammed directly into the parked trolley. Police officials confirmed the impact was extremely severe. This caused instant fatalities for all three students.

Police Investigation and Statements

Sai Karishna Thota, the Superintendent of Police for Narmadapuram district, provided initial insights into the possible cause. "They probably couldn't see the truck due to the headlight of another vehicle from the opposite direction," Thota stated. This temporary blindness might have prevented the scooter rider from noticing the stationary trolley in time.

Local authorities have registered the case and are conducting a thorough investigation. They are examining road conditions, lighting factors, and vehicle positioning at the accident site.

Victims Identified

The deceased students have been officially identified by police records:

  • Ashwin Raghuvanshi, son of Lalit Raghuvanshi
  • Shiv Raghuvanshi, son of Rameshwar Raghuvanshi
  • Manuraj Raghuvanshi, son of Praveen Raghuvanshi

All three boys were minors studying in Class IX. Their families reside in Amdehi village within the district.

Community Impact and Safety Concerns

This tragic incident has sent shockwaves through the local community. Villagers from Amdehi and surrounding areas are mourning the loss of these young students. The accident highlights ongoing concerns about road safety in rural and semi-urban areas.

Police officials have urged vehicle operators to exercise extreme caution during night travel. They particularly emphasized the dangers of temporary vision impairment caused by opposing headlights on poorly lit roads.

The investigation continues as authorities work to determine all contributing factors to this heartbreaking collision.
