Two Young Men Hacked to Death During Ram Navami Processions in Jharkhand
In a tragic incident, two individuals were allegedly hacked to death during Ram Navami processions in Jharkhand's Hazaribag district, as confirmed by officials on Sunday. The events unfolded around midnight at Jhanda Chowk within the Town police station area, involving different processions.
Details of the Victims and Incidents
The deceased, both participants in the religious processions, have been identified as Prince Kumar, aged 21 and a resident of Silwar village, and Abhishek Kumar, also 21, from Bada Bazzar Gwaltoli. According to Sadar Sub-divisional Police Officer (SDPO) Amit Anand, Abhishek Kumar was attacked by an unidentified assailant during a Ram Navami procession on Saturday. He was immediately rushed to Sheikh Bhikhari Medical College and Hospital (SBMCH) for urgent medical attention, but doctors declared him dead upon arrival.
In a similar attack, Prince Kumar was also assaulted with a sharp-edged weapon. He was taken to the same hospital's trauma centre but succumbed to his injuries during treatment, as stated by SBMCH Superintendent A K Purty.

As of now, no arrests have been made in connection with these brutal killings. The police are actively investigating the matter to identify the perpetrators and determine the motives behind the attacks.
