Details of the Victims and Incidents

The deceased, both participants in the religious processions, have been identified as Prince Kumar, aged 21 and a resident of Silwar village, and Abhishek Kumar, also 21, from Bada Bazzar Gwaltoli. According to Sadar Sub-divisional Police Officer (SDPO) Amit Anand, Abhishek Kumar was attacked by an unidentified assailant during a Ram Navami procession on Saturday. He was immediately rushed to Sheikh Bhikhari Medical College and Hospital (SBMCH) for urgent medical attention, but doctors declared him dead upon arrival.

In a similar attack, Prince Kumar was also assaulted with a sharp-edged weapon. He was taken to the same hospital's trauma centre but succumbed to his injuries during treatment, as stated by SBMCH Superintendent A K Purty.
