A late-night celebration turned into a tragedy in Noida when two young men lost their lives in a horrific road accident. Around midnight, while they were on their way back, a vehicle, alleged by witnesses to be a Scorpio, struck their motorcycle with great force. The impact was so severe that it threw both riders a considerable distance, leaving them with critical injuries and completely damaging their bike.
Passers-by who saw the aftermath immediately alerted a nearby police outpost. The police rushed the injured youths to a hospital, but the doctors could not save them. They were declared dead shortly after admission. A senior police officer confirmed that neither of the youths was wearing a helmet at the time of the collision, which likely exacerbated their injuries.
