In a shocking incident that has rattled the local community, a group of anti-social elements went on a rampage, vandalizing vehicles parked along the roadside in Indira Mata Nagar under Digdoh Nagar Parishad. The brazen attack occurred around 8:30 PM on Monday, spreading panic and fear among residents of the locality.
Details of the Vandalism Spree
The gang of youths targeted a range of vehicles, including motorcycles, cars, and auto-rickshaws, with reports indicating that they smashed windscreens and caused significant damage. As local residents gathered at the scene, alarmed by the commotion, the miscreants fled swiftly, leaving behind a trail of destruction. Police Response and Investigation
In response to the incident, alarmed citizens immediately rushed to the MIDC police station to lodge formal complaints. Senior Police Inspector Gokul Mahajan of the MIDC police station took prompt action by forming a dedicated investigation team. This team is being led by Assistant Police Inspector Sanjay Bansod, who is tasked with uncovering the motives behind the vandalism and identifying the perpetrators.
