The K R Puram police in Bengaluru have registered a case against a woman and her lover for allegedly murdering her parents and sister. The three victims were found stabbed to death in their apartment on Tuesday morning. The accused are currently on the run.

Details of the Incident

According to police officials, the incident took place in the early hours of June 23, 2026. The victims have been identified as the woman's father, mother, and younger sister. Preliminary investigations suggest that the couple had been in a live-in relationship for the past few months, which the family strongly opposed.

"The woman and her lover entered the house around 2 am and attacked the family with sharp weapons," said a senior police officer. "Neighbors heard screams but by the time they arrived, the accused had fled."

Investigation Underway

The police have launched a manhunt for the accused. CCTV footage from the apartment complex is being examined. "We have formed special teams to track them down. They are likely hiding in a nearby district," the officer added. The bodies have been sent for autopsy.

This incident has shocked the locality, with residents expressing horror at the brutal nature of the crime. "They were a quiet family. We never expected something like this," said a neighbor.
