Woman Found Murdered in Jalaun Village, Police Launch Investigation
A 55-year-old woman was discovered murdered in village Kharra Harkauti, located in the Kotwali area of Jalaun district, on Wednesday morning, according to police officials. The incident has sent shockwaves through the local community and prompted a swift response from law enforcement agencies.
Discovery of the Crime Scene
Villagers first noticed something amiss around 9 am when they found the doors of the woman's house wide open. After receiving no response from inside, they entered the premises and made a chilling discovery. The courtyard contained blood stains, a slipper, and broken bangles, immediately raising alarm.
The villagers promptly informed the woman's nephew, Pawan Kumar, about the suspicious situation. Following an initial search, the woman's nude body was found in a field approximately 50 metres away from her residence.

Upon being notified, Additional Superintendent of Police Pradeep Kumar Verma arrived at the scene along with other police personnel and a forensic team. Kotwali in-charge Anand Kumar Singh conducted preliminary investigations, while Superintendent of Police Durgesh Kumar personally inspected the crime scene.
Superintendent Kumar announced that four specialized teams have been formed to solve the case and apprehend the accused. The investigation is currently underway with police examining all possible angles and evidence.
Victim's Background and Family Details
Police revealed that the woman lived alone and supported herself through goat rearing. She had two sons who work and reside in Delhi and Surat respectively, along with four married daughters. All family members have been informed about the tragic incident.
The woman's nephew, Pawan Kumar, has officially filed a murder case against unknown persons, initiating the formal legal process.
