Woman Stabbed to Death, Husband Injured in Parking Dispute

A 32-year-old woman was allegedly stabbed to death and her husband seriously injured in southwest Delhi's Bindapur area following a dispute over motorcycle parking, police said on Saturday. The incident occurred around 2:50 pm when Bindapur Police Station received a call reporting that two or three boys had stabbed the caller's daughter and son-in-law in the stomach, according to news agency PTI.

Victims Rushed to Hospital

Police arrived at the scene but found the victims had already been taken to Deen Dayal Upadhyay (DDU) Hospital. Doctors declared the woman, identified as Aarti, brought dead. Her husband, Vicky, who suffered stab injuries, was later referred to Safdarjung Hospital for advanced treatment.

Dispute Over Parking Escalates

Preliminary investigation revealed that the couple had argued with neighbors over parking a motorcycle on the road. The dispute escalated, leading to the stabbing. Police identified the accused as Pappu (40) and a juvenile, both residents of the same locality. While Pappu has been detained, efforts are underway to trace the juvenile.
