The Mundhwa police late on Tuesday night recovered the body of a 27-year-old woman from a location near the garbage depot in Keshavnagar, Pune. The police have stated that the exact cause of death will be determined once the post-mortem report is received.
Victim Identified
The deceased has been identified as a married woman who resided in Wadgaonsheri. According to the police, she operated a beauty parlour for her livelihood. Her husband is employed at a private company in Bengaluru. The woman was living in a rented accommodation with her sister and her two children.
Investigation Underway
The police are investigating the case from multiple angles to ascertain whether the death was due to natural causes, an accident, or a murder. They are also examining the CCTV footage from the area to determine how she arrived at the spot or whether someone placed her body there and left.
Authorities are awaiting the post-mortem report for further clarity. The case has been registered at the Mundhwa police station, and further inquiries are ongoing.
