BJP chief Nitin Nabin urges Uttarakhand workers to align with party line

Dehradun: BJP national president Nitin Nabin on Saturday asked party members and workers in Uttarakhand to remain aligned with the party’s official line on social media and intensify grassroots outreach as the party gears up for the 2027 assembly elections.

Concluding his three-day visit to the state, Nabin held a series of meetings with party functionaries and reviewed the BJP’s organisational preparedness. In a veiled message to party members, he advised them against posting content on social media that contradicts the party’s stand and urged them to amplify messages shared by the CM and other senior members.

Focusing on constituencies where the BJP either lost or secured narrow victories in the last assembly election, Nabin directed MLAs, former candidates and senior party members to strengthen booth-level engagement over the next two months. He said the party would review progress after the deadline.

The BJP chief also assigned MPs responsibility for assembly segments falling within their respective parliamentary constituencies and instructed seniors to prepare a list of 100 influential intellectuals in every constituency.

During his visit, Nabin offered prayers at Tapeshwar Mandir and visited the residence of Kishor Kumar, a booth-level BJP worker.

Addressing party workers at Dakra Bazar, Nabin said, “With the resolve to win the booth and win the election, we must remain continuously active among the public.”
