BJP Mahila Morcha protests against SP MP's derogatory remarks on PM Modi
BJP women protest SP MP's remarks on PM Modi, seek apology

Prayagraj: Activists of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Mahila Morcha staged a massive demonstration at the district headquarters on Thursday to protest against the derogatory remarks made by Samajwadi Party (SP) MP from Mahoba against Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The protesters demanded an unconditional apology from the MP for his comments.

BJP District President Condemns Remarks

Speaking on the occasion, BJP district president (Gangapar) Nirmala Paswan strongly condemned the remarks. “By making such highly undignified and derogatory remarks against the PM, the SP MP has exposed the petty mentality of both himself and his party—a behavior that cannot be tolerated,” she said.

Paswan asserted that such comments are an insult not only to the Prime Minister but also to ‘Nari Shakti’ (women power). She further argued that SP chief Akhilesh Yadav ought to take disciplinary action against the MP—something that he has failed to do—and for which he should feel ashamed.

Demand for Apology and Action

The protesters raised slogans against the SP MP and demanded that he apologize publicly. They also urged the party leadership to take strict action, stating that such behavior undermines the dignity of the office of the Prime Minister and disrespects women across the country.

The demonstration was part of a series of protests planned by the BJP Mahila Morcha across Uttar Pradesh to condemn the MP’s remarks and to highlight the party’s commitment to respecting women and national leaders.
