"Initially, we assumed it was a cooking gas cylinder explosion since there are numerous food establishments nearby. But when we rushed outside, we encountered a nightmare scenario."
The scene that greeted them was one of complete devastation. "Car parts were scattered everywhere, and then we saw human flesh and body parts," Aggarwal stated, his account painting a grim picture of the immediate aftermath.
Giriraj Singh, a temple supervisor who was in his office when the explosion occurred, shared similar traumatic memories. "The sound was deafening. My colleagues and I immediately ran toward the source," Singh said. "We found pieces of flesh, vehicle components, and shattered glass covering the area. Thick smoke and flames surrounded everything."
Legal Action and Investigation
Authorities have responded swiftly to the incident, registering a formal case at the Kotwali Police Station in north Delhi. The case has been filed under significant legal provisions:
- Sections 16 and 18 of the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA)
