Delhi police have arrested a 20-year-old man, Divyanshu, for posting photographs on social media in which he was brandishing a knife. The arrest came after a complaint was filed regarding the images, which were circulated on various platforms.

Arrest and Confession

During interrogation, Divyanshu allegedly told police that he had uploaded the photographs to gain social media clout and to cultivate the image of a criminal. He admitted that he had no intention of using the weapon but wanted to appear tough online.

Police officials stated that the accused was taken into custody from his residence in west Delhi. A knife was also recovered from his possession. The authorities have registered a case under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code and the Arms Act.
