Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Tuesday lauded the role of border villagers in nation building, describing their contribution as extraordinary. Speaking at an event in Jammu, Sinha said that the residents of villages along the Line of Control (LoC) have shown remarkable resilience and patriotism despite facing challenges.

The L-G emphasized that border villagers are not just guardians of the nation's frontiers but also active participants in the development process. He noted that their sacrifices and dedication have strengthened the country's security and unity.

Sinha reiterated the government's commitment to the welfare of border areas, citing various initiatives aimed at improving infrastructure, education, and healthcare. He said that special attention is being given to ensure that villagers living near the border have access to basic amenities and opportunities for growth.
