Satheesan has made clear his government's stance on two critical issues: the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) and the rising fuel prices. In a statement issued on Friday, Satheesan asserted that the state would not conduct NEET, reiterating the long-standing opposition of Kerala's political leadership to the medical entrance exam. Addressing the surge in fuel prices, Satheesan announced that his administration would conduct a thorough assessment of the impact on the state's economy and common citizens. He stated, "We will not remain silent spectators to the burden imposed by rising fuel costs.
