The Congress chief's comments came in response to Prime Minister Modi's address in the Rajya Sabha, where the PM accused the Congress of insulting Sikhs. This accusation referenced a recent viral exchange between Rahul Gandhi and Minister Ravneet Bittu, in which Bittu was labeled a "traitor." Kharge dismissed Modi's claims as absurd and baseless, suggesting that the Prime Minister's speech indicates he is "mentally disturbed" due to external pressures.

Kharge further alleged that Modi's behavior is influenced by the Epstein Files, which he claims have been leveraged by US President Donald Trump to arm-twist the Indian leader. "As soon as Trump caught him, Modi surrendered, he knelt down and made a trade deal," Kharge stated, accusing the PM of sacrificing Indian farmers in the process.
