In a concerning security breach, a group of masked men attempted to break into the residence of Haryana Congress chief Udai Bhan in Narnaul late on Tuesday night. The incident has sparked political tension, with the Congress party demanding a thorough investigation and enhanced security for its leaders.

According to police sources, the incident occurred around 11:30 PM when the accused, wearing masks, tried to force open the main gate of Udai Bhan's house. Alert security personnel noticed the suspicious activity and immediately raised an alarm, prompting the miscreants to flee the scene. No one was injured in the attempt, but the incident has raised serious questions about the safety of political figures in the state.

In response to the incident, the local police have increased patrolling in the area and deployed additional security personnel near the residences of other political leaders. The Congress chief's house has been provided with extra protection, and a special investigation team (SIT) has been formed to probe the matter.
Udai Bhan, who was not present at the house during the incident, expressed gratitude to his security team for their alertness. He stated, "I have full faith in the police and the administration. We must ensure that such incidents do not happen again."
Background
This is not the first time that a political leader's residence has been targeted in Haryana. In recent months, there have been several instances of vandalism and threats against politicians from various parties. The state government has been criticized for its handling of law and order, with opposition parties accusing it of failing to protect democratic institutions.
