Mohan Bhagwat at RSS meet in Mathura pushes for Hindu unity

Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat has called for greater unity within the Hindu community while championing the core principles of social harmony, self-reliance, and strong family values. He delivered this message during a key meeting in Mathura, Uttar Pradesh, as confirmed by an RSS office-bearer.

Focus on Core Principles and Centenary Vision

The RSS Sarsanghchalak arrived in Mathura on Sunday for a significant three-day national executive meeting of the organization. The gathering is being held at Keshav Dham. Mohan Bhagwat is scheduled to remain in the Vrindavan area for a total of seven days.

On Monday, the discussions took a structured format with members splitting into smaller groups. These groups delved into region-specific objectives and broader organizational goals, according to an RSS member who spoke anonymously. At the heart of Bhagwat's address was the push for implementing the 'Panch Parivartan' (five transformations) formula. This strategic framework was originally decided upon during the Vijayadashami address last year, marking a pivotal moment as the RSS completes a century of its existence.

Agenda and Upcoming Engagements

When questioned about whether contemporary issues like 'love jihad' or the reported violence against Hindus in Bangladesh were part of the dialogue, the office-bearer indicated that high-level discussions on such topics had not yet commenced at this stage of the meeting.

The RSS chief's itinerary includes several notable engagements. On Saturday morning, he will visit the Vrindavan Chandrodaya Temple, which is currently under construction. Once finished, this temple is projected to be the world's tallest at a staggering height of 700 feet.

Following this, Bhagwat will inaugurate a celebration event commemorating the 100th year of the arrival of Sant Sudama Das Ji in Vrindavan. The administrators of the Sudama Kuti Ashram have extended an invitation to Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath for this event as well.

A Message for the Future

The Mathura meeting underscores the RSS's focus on internal strengthening and community cohesion as it navigates its second century. By reiterating the 'Panch Parivartan' formula and emphasizing timeless values, Mohan Bhagwat has set the tone for the organization's priorities. The upcoming events in Vrindavan further connect this ideological vision with cultural and religious heritage, highlighting the Sangh's deep-rooted presence in the region's spiritual landscape.
