He emphasized that the dignity of Bhojshala will be further strengthened under the protection and management of the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI), and the rights of devotees to offer prayers will be ensured.
Directive to Bring Back Idol
The chief minister also welcomed the court's directive to the central government to consider bringing the idol of Maa Vagdevi back from the United Kingdom to India. "The state government will make necessary efforts in this direction," Yadav assured. He highlighted that Indian culture has always been a carrier of 'sarva dharma sambhav', social harmony, and brotherhood. "We fully respect the court's decision and are committed to further strengthening harmony, cultural pride, and social goodwill in the state," he added.
BJP State Chief's Statement
State BJP chief Hemant Khandelwal also reacted to the verdict, stating, "Dhar Bhojshala is our identity, the centre of faith and the pride of our culture. Victory to Sanatan Dharma."
