A tragic incident occurred in Nagpur's Hingna area on Friday, where a nine-year-old boy lost his life after falling from a slide in the green gym area near the Zilla Parishad Primary School in Dhangarpura.
Details of the Incident
The deceased, identified as Lucky Masram (9), was a resident of Nandgaon Khandeshwar in Amravati district. He had come to Dhangarpura with his family to attend a relative's wedding. On May 15, around 2:30 PM, Lucky went to play on the slide along with his cousin brothers.
While sliding down, he lost his balance and fell from a considerable height, sustaining severe injuries. The boy became unconscious and was immediately rushed to Hingna Rural Hospital. However, doctors declared him dead upon arrival.

Many local residents have expressed concerns about the safety of playground equipment in the school premises. The incident has raised questions about the maintenance and safety standards of such facilities, especially those used by children.
Police Response
The Hingna police have registered the case as an accidental death. Further investigations are underway to determine the exact circumstances surrounding the incident.
