Noida RWAs Meet Authority Over Pending Repairs and Commercial Activities
Noida RWAs Meet Authority Over Pending Repairs

Residents' welfare associations (RWAs) in Noida recently met with officials from the Noida Authority to address pending repair works of roads, drains, sewers, parks, water supply, and electricity. The general secretary of the RWA in Sector 51, Blocks C to F, submitted a request to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to halt various commercial activities operating from rented accommodations, including paying guest facilities, hotels, guest houses, banquet halls, offices, nursing homes, and schools.

Security Concerns Raised

Sanjeev Kumar, the RWA general secretary, expressed to officials that commercial establishments such as hotels and guest houses pose a significant security risk. He highlighted that the proliferation of such institutions has made it increasingly difficult for security guards at sector gates to monitor visitors entering the area.

Delegation Meets Senior Officials

A delegation led by the Federation of Noida Residents Welfare Associations met with senior Authority officials, including General Managers AK Arora and RP Singh, and Horticulture Director Anand Mohan Singh, at the federation office in Sector 52. The federation's secretary general, KK Jain, emphasized the need for prompt resolution of urgent community problems.
