Bengaluru and Other Major Cities
Bengaluru's petrol price of Rs 106.17 remains below the Rs 110 mark, but diesel in the city is now Rs 94.50. Hyderabad and Jaipur also saw increases, with petrol at Rs 112.30 and Rs 111.75 respectively. The variations are due to local taxes and freight charges.
Impact on Common Man
The consecutive hikes have added to the burden of commuters and transporters. Auto and taxi fares are expected to rise, and essential commodities may become costlier due to higher logistics costs. The government has not yet commented on future price trends.
