Recognising the significance of the operation, PM Modi commended the armed forces for their unparalleled courage, precision, and resolve. He stated, "A year ago, our armed forces displayed unparalleled courage, precision and resolve during Operation Sindoor. They gave a fitting response to those who dared to attack innocent Indians at Pahalgam. The entire nation salutes our forces for their valour."
In a subsequent tweet in Hindi, he highlighted the extraordinary victory achieved in Operation Sindoor as an inspiring example of the bravery and patriotism of our soldiers. He expressed pride in their indomitable courage, determination, and dedication, quoting a Sanskrit shloka that translates to: "In the army where the soldiers and chariots are spirited, victory is certain."
Indian Air Force's Commemoration
The Indian Air Force also commemorated the anniversary, posting a message that read: "Operation Sindoor: Justice served. Precise in action, eternal in memory—Operation Sindoor continues. India forgets nothing, India forgives nothing." The post included hashtags such as #operation, #Sindoor, #operationsindoor, and #IAF, and tagged the Prime Minister's Office, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, and other defence officials.
