Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh BJP president Pankaj Chaudhary on Thursday made an impassioned appeal to party office-bearers, workers, public representatives, farmers, private institutions, and all residents of the state to prioritize national interest above all else. He urged them to adopt simplicity, thrift, and the spirit of 'Swadeshi' in their conduct and daily lifestyle.
Collective Responsibility for Future Generations
Chaudhary emphasized that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has called for certain changes in lifestyles to effectively address global challenges. He stated, "This is not merely an appeal, but rather our collective responsibility to ensure a secure future for generations to come." He appealed to all party workers and residents to transform PM Modi's call into a mass movement and resolve to incorporate changes in their daily lives in alignment with the Prime Minister's vision.
Active Citizen Participation in Nation-Building
The state BJP president stressed that nation-building is not achieved solely by governments but through the active participation of citizens. "Let us all join hands to make an active contribution toward building a self-reliant, capable, and developed India," he said.
Promoting Sustainable Practices
Chaudhary urged everyone to use petrol and diesel strictly according to necessity and to promote public transport, carpooling, and electric vehicles. He called upon people to embrace the mantra of 'Vocal for Local' by prioritizing indigenous products and those manufactured within India.
Reducing Unnecessary Expenditure
Furthermore, he urged citizens to avoid unnecessary foreign travel and wasteful expenditure, thereby contributing to the strengthening of the national economy. He also appealed to farmers to promote natural farming in the national interest and reduce their dependence on chemical fertilizers.
Judicious Use of Resources
Appealing to the public, Chaudhary requested that edible oils and other resources be utilized judiciously to reduce the country's reliance on imports. He reiterated that adopting these measures would help build a self-reliant India.
