Chief Minister Takes Cognisance
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath took immediate cognisance of the loss of lives and the destruction caused by the extreme weather. He directed officials to ensure that relief reaches the affected families within 24 hours. The state government has mobilised disaster response teams to assist in rescue and relief operations.
Damage and Rescue Efforts
The storms uprooted trees, damaged homes, and disrupted power supply in several districts. Rescue teams are working to clear debris and provide medical aid to the injured. Authorities have urged residents to stay indoors and avoid unnecessary travel until the weather improves.
In a statement, the Chief Minister's Office confirmed that compensation would be provided to the families of the deceased. The injured are being treated at government hospitals, and additional medical teams have been deployed to affected areas.
