K C Venugopal has welcomed the Congress high command's decision to appoint V D Satheesan as Kerala's next Chief Minister. Speaking in Delhi, Venugopal said the entire party stands behind Satheesan and the new UDF government. He revealed that Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi Vadra consulted him during the selection process. Thanking party workers for supporting him, Venugopal stressed that all sincere Congress leaders must stand united behind the final party decision.
