Jhansi: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Saturday said Prime Minister Narendra Modi gave the country the mantra of ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas and Sabka Prayas’, due to which India had emerged as the fastest growing economy in the world.
Collective effort for a developed India
“The collective effort of 140 crore Indians is the foundation of a developed India. When the entire country moves forward with one goal, then there is no delay in historic works like removing the symbols of slavery and constructing the grand temple of Lord Ram. The Ram Temple is not merely a temple of Ram Lalla but the beginning of the construction of the national temple of a new India,” he said.
Viksit Bharat Sankalp Conference
Yogi was addressing the ‘Viksit Bharat Sankalp Conference’ at the Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Auditorium here. The sammelans are being organised across the country by BJP to highlight the achievements of the central government over the past 12 years.
Bundelkhand as a model of development
Upholding Bundelkhand as a model of development, the CM said the region was now defined by projects like the defence corridor, expressways, medical colleges, pharma parks and new employment opportunities. He said Bundelkhand’s youth were no longer migrating but were joining industries locally or qualifying for government jobs.
“Government’s goal is to provide employment to every youth, water to every field and to make every village self-reliant. The dream of a developed India will be fulfilled only when every district, every village and every town of UP becomes self-reliant and developed,” he said.
Comparison between UPA and NDA rule
Differentiating between the rule of Congress-led UPA and BJP-led NDA governments, Yogi said against massive corruption and a situation where India’s economy was faltering and respect for it in the world had diminished, India had touched new heights over the last 12 years.
“As the fastest growing economy in the world, India is among the five largest economies where unprecedented development had taken place in the fields of infrastructure, expressways, railways, air connectivity and defence manufacturing,” he said.
Accusations against SP and Congress
Accusing SP and Congress of dividing society, the CM said when these parties were in power, they worked only for their own families and now were engaged in dividing society in the name of caste and religion like foreign invaders.
“Social unity and nationalism are India’s greatest strength. The BJP works towards nation building and uniting society, whereas the Opposition is engaged in divisive politics. The BJP works with dedication to advance the country’s security, prosperity and cultural heritage,” he said.
Praise for PM Modi
Heaping praise on PM Modi, the CM said when other countries had lost the battle against the Covid-19, the PM was encouraging Indians to work for a developed nation.
“Modi ji gave the mantra of Panch Pran for a developed India. In this, freedom from the mentality of slavery, respect for heritage, respect for the army and security forces, social unity and citizen duty have been described as most important. No country can become self-reliant until it comes out of the mentality of slavery,” he added.
