The Lucknow Municipal Corporation is set to revamp four major city crossings under the Mukhya Mantri Nagarodaya Yojana. This initiative aims to ease traffic congestion, improve road safety, and enhance the overall urban landscape.
Project Details and Approvals
The project has received administrative approval and will involve beautification, road widening, profile correction, rotary development, and other infrastructure upgrades at key traffic junctions. The first phase will cover Gol Market crossing, Kathauta crossing, National PG College crossing, and Pasi Quila crossing.
Expected Benefits
Officials stated that the remodelling is designed to ensure smoother traffic flow, reduce congestion, and enhance commuter convenience. The crossings will also be given a modern and aesthetically improved appearance, contributing to a better urban environment.
