Minister Inaugurates Convention and Exhibition

Minister Chandravanshi performed the inauguration ceremony, marking the official start of the student organization's major state-level meet. A key highlight of the inauguration was the opening of a special exhibition curated by the ABVP. This exhibition is designed to provide visitors with a comprehensive overview of the Parishad's multifaceted work throughout the year.

Suraj Singh, the head of the convention organizing team, elaborated on the exhibition's purpose. He stated that the display effectively showcases the organization's ideological, educational, and various other activities. These initiatives are undertaken across multiple districts in the southern region of Bihar, known as South Bihar.

A Tribute to the 'Mountain Man'

The exhibition venue itself carried a name of great local and national inspiration. It was named in honor of the legendary 'Mountain Man' Dashrath Manjhi, whose extraordinary feat of carving a path through a hill in Gehlaur, Gaya, single-handedly over 22 years, remains a powerful symbol of determination and social service.

The inaugural session saw a warm welcome extended to the dignitaries and guests by Satish Singh Chandra, the principal of Gaya College. His presence underscored the educational context of the event, bridging student activism with institutional academia.

Showcasing Year-Round Activities

The exhibition employs a mix of visual and informational tools to communicate its message. According to organizers, the display utilizes a detailed photo gallery and numerous information boards. This method offers attendees a vivid narrative of the ABVP's grassroots engagements, ideological campaigns, and educational outreach programs conducted over the past year.

The convention, set to last four days, is expected to host discussions, planning sessions, and speeches focusing on the organization's future roadmap in Bihar. The gathering of student members and leaders from across the state highlights the ABVP's continued focus on strengthening its base and ideological outreach in the region.
