A significant fire broke out at a Honda two-wheeler showroom located in TC Palya near KR Pura in Bengaluru on Wednesday night, resulting in the complete destruction of approximately 20 vehicles. Fire and emergency services officials have indicated that a short circuit is the suspected cause of the blaze, though investigations are ongoing to confirm the exact origin.

The incident occurred between 10.30 pm and 10.45 pm, shortly after the showroom had closed for the day. Passersby first noticed smoke emanating from the two-storey building and promptly alerted the fire and emergency services. Upon receiving the alert, firefighters rushed to the spot and deployed a water tanker to douse the flames, working diligently to control the fire and prevent further damage.
Extent of Damage and Owner's Statement
Showroom owner Praveen provided details on the substantial losses incurred. The fire gutted 11 new bikes and scooters that were on display, along with nine customer vehicles that had been left at the showroom for servicing. In addition to the vehicles, furniture and other items inside the showroom were also destroyed in the intense blaze. Praveen expressed relief that no casualties were reported, emphasizing the safety of all individuals involved.
