Chikkamagaluru: Schools reopened on Monday after the summer break, and children who arrived were given a warm welcome by teachers and public representatives. MLA HD Thammaiah and Legislative Council member SL Bhojegowda visited the Government Primary and High School at Basavanahalli to welcome students, distributing sweets and roses to each one.

Government Schools Provide Quality Education

Thammaiah stated that government schools have all basic facilities and skilled teachers. Students will receive good education here, and the government has provided all facilities so that no student is deprived of education. Despite competition from private institutions, government schools are delivering quality education and achieving good results.

“Parents should not feel inferior that their children are studying in government schools. Today, we see people who studied in government schools holding high positions. MLC SL Bhojegowda studied in government schools and became a council member and lawyer. I too studied in a government school and am an MLA today,” he said.
