In a significant address during the 77th Republic Day celebrations at Hyderabad's Parade Grounds, Governor Jishnu Dev Varma expressed strong confidence in the Congress-led government's performance and its ambitious long-term roadmap for Telangana. The governor emphasized that the administration has successfully gained public trust while working toward what he described as a radical transformation of the state through its comprehensive Vision-2047 document.
Vision-2047: A Blueprint for Inclusive Growth
Governor Varma detailed how the "praja prabhutvam" (people's government) established two years ago under Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy has achieved remarkable milestones that have earned widespread appreciation. He highlighted that upon completing its second year, the government took what he called a "bold and visionary step" by launching the Telangana Rising Vision-2047 document, which serves as a comprehensive roadmap for sustainable and inclusive development.
Connecting state aspirations with national objectives, the governor noted that while India aims to become a $30 trillion economy by 2047, Telangana has set an equally ambitious target of emerging as a $3 trillion economy within the same timeframe.

The Vision-2047 framework, unveiled at the Telangana Rising Global Summit 2025, focuses on balanced regional development through three distinct economic zones:
- CURE (Core Urban Region Economy): With Hyderabad as the primary growth engine

The Rythu Bharosa assistance was enhanced to Rs 12,000 per acre annually. During the recent kharif season, the state procured about 72 lakh metric tonnes of paddy from 14.24 lakh farmers, with payments totaling Rs 17,079 crore plus a bonus subsidy of Rs 1,453 crore.
"Telangana has emerged as a leading paddy producer and now exports rice to numerous countries," the governor proudly stated. He also cited the formation of a farmer commission and replacement of the Dharani portal with the Bhu Bharati Act as revolutionary game changers in agricultural administration.
