Minister Assures Fast-Tracking of Yettinahole Project
Karnataka Water Resources Minister Ramalinga Reddy has assured to expedite the Yettinahole project, stating, 'We aim to clear the hurdles within 100 days.' The announcement was made on 01 July 2026, according to reports.

The Yettinahole project is a major drinking water initiative aimed at supplying water to drought-prone districts in Karnataka, including Kolar, Chikkaballapur, and Bengaluru Rural. The project involves diverting water from the Yettinahole stream in the Western Ghats to these arid regions.
