Kumaraswamy stated that he has decided to provide opportunities to youngsters within the party. He believes that the future of the JD(S) lies in empowering the younger generation and giving them a platform to contribute to politics.
Reaction to Cross Voting
When asked about the cross voting that impacted the MLC poll results, Kumaraswamy said he was not taken by surprise. He noted that such incidents are part of the political process and that the party will learn from the experience.
The JD(S) chief reiterated his commitment to strengthening the party's grassroots presence and attracting new talent. He urged party workers to work collectively towards this goal.
