The Khanna Superintendent of Police (SSP) and Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) conducted inspections of the counting centres in Khanna on Tuesday, a day before the civic body election results are scheduled to be declared. The officials meticulously examined the arrangements to ensure a seamless and transparent counting process.
Detailed Inspection of Counting Centres
During the inspection, the SSP and SDM reviewed the security protocols, counting staff deployment, and the overall logistics at the designated counting halls. They interacted with the election officials to confirm that all necessary measures were in place for the accurate counting of votes. The officials emphasised the importance of maintaining law and order throughout the counting process.
Security Arrangements
The SSP directed the police personnel to remain vigilant and ensure strict compliance with the standard operating procedures.
