We have filed cases and helped victims' families, the chief minister declared. She promised continued support for affected migrant labourers. Banerjee questioned how the BJP expects Bengal support while harassing Bengalis elsewhere.
Friday Prayers and Deliberate Disturbances
Mamata Banerjee discussed the significance of Friday prayers for minority communities. She compared it to Hindu auspicious days associated with deities. The CM explained that Friday holds deep sentimental value for Muslims.
Banerjee alleged miscreants deliberately tried to create disturbance during prayers. She referenced the Beldanga incident without naming specific instigators. Some saw Friday gatherings as opportunities to provoke people, the chief minister suggested.
