The district administration in Buxar has intensified security arrangements ahead of Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary's scheduled visit to the town on Saturday. In preparation for the event, a special traffic route plan has been implemented across Buxar, with key roads and intersections placed under strict vehicular restrictions.
Pre-Visit Preparations
On Friday, the District Magistrate (DM) and Superintendent of Police (SP) conducted an inspection of the helipad currently under construction at Qila Maidan. During the visit, they issued necessary directives to officials regarding both security and administrative preparedness to ensure a smooth and safe arrival of the chief minister.
Traffic Restrictions in Place
According to an official order issued by the Traffic Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) office, entry of all types of vehicles will be prohibited on several major routes in Buxar town from 12 noon to 7 pm on Saturday. The administration has appealed to residents to avoid unnecessary use of four-wheelers and to cooperate with the traffic arrangements in place.
Under the revised traffic plan, restrictions will remain in force on the following routes:
- From ITI Mor to Central Jail Mor via Nath Baba Bridge and Qila Maidan up to the police checkpost.
- Routes connecting Central Jail Mor, Sumeshwarsthan, and Sipahi Ghat.
- Jyoti Chowk, Thana Chowk, Ramrekha Ghat, and Tarka Nala.
The district administration has urged the public to plan their travel accordingly and adhere to the traffic regulations to avoid inconvenience. Additional security personnel have been deployed at key locations to monitor the situation and ensure compliance.
This visit by Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary is expected to address local development issues and inaugurate or lay foundation stones for various projects in the region. The administration is leaving no stone unturned to ensure a secure and orderly event.
