Shivpal Yadav slams BJP over Ram temple irregularities

Kanpur: National general secretary of the Samajwadi Party, Shivpal Yadav, said that nothing could be more unrighteous than the theft or irregularities in the work of Lord Ram’s temple. While talking to reporters in the city on Wednesday, he said that BJP members are trying to mislead the public and, when facts come out, they avoid giving replies.

Responding to remarks made by deputy chief minister Keshav Prasad Maurya on SP, Shivpal said that they feel that their political base is slipping and are making such comments. He said the SP has defeated Keshav Prasad Maurya multiple times and if he contests elections again, the SP will defeat Maurya again.

Shivpal asserted that the SP is steadily growing stronger in the state and continues to receive public backing. Reacting strongly on the issue involving his granddaughter, he raised questions on the state govt saying that no action has been taken in the case so far. Taking a dig at the BJP, he said the govt only raises slogans about daughters’ safety, but the reality on the ground is different.
