A joyous wedding procession in Rajasthan ended in tragedy late Friday evening when a bus carrying guests overturned on a slope, resulting in three fatalities and leaving 46 individuals injured. According to police reports, the wedding procession involved two buses traveling from Kheda Wadlipada in Sajjangarh to Sanlai village. While the first bus successfully navigated the treacherous slope, the second bus, following behind, met with disaster. Kalingara CI Yogesh Kumar stated that the driver lost control of the vehicle near the slope, causing it to overturn uncontrollably.

The deceased have been identified as Tita Sokha Dodiyar, Dalu Bhura Dama, and Kamla Garasia. Their untimely deaths have cast a pall of grief over the wedding festivities, transforming what should have been a celebration into a scene of profound sorrow.

Immediate Rescue and Medical Response

Following the accident, passersby sprang into action, initiating rescue operations and promptly alerting the authorities. All injured individuals were initially transported to Barodiya Hospital for emergency care before being transferred to Mahatma Gandhi Hospital for further treatment.

Upon receiving news of the incident, District Collector Indrajeet Yadav and SP Sudhir Joshi rushed to the hospital to oversee the response efforts. Yadav confirmed that treatment for all injured persons is ongoing, with the hospital administration placed on high alert due to the critical condition of some patients.
